Calling all music publishers - you have until 12 August to register for the MPA and BPI’s German trade mission.
The joint trade mission will run 23-26 September as part of Hamburg’s Reeperbahn Festival.
UK Trade & Investment Germany support the initiative, which aims to help British companies increase business in the world's third largest music market.
The programme includes entrance to the Reeperbahn Festival, seminars with panels on how to promote and market your music in Germany, the idiosyncrasies of collective rights management, sync, live music, A&R as well as exclusive networking events.
Sue Hantsch, MPA head of member services, said: ‘Germany retains a huge thirst for British music, and the purpose of this trade mission is to help unlock some of these opportunities through practical seminars and face-to-face networking events.
‘Last year’s event was hugely successful attracting speakers from companies such as Spotify, PIAS Germany, Warner/Chappell Publishing, Rough Trade and White Horse Music. The mission also represents fantastic value, including entrance to the full three days of Hamburg’s Reeperbahn Festival and conference.’
The deadline for applications is Wednesday 12 August. Visit the MPA’s website to register.
