The X Factor-style show, Eurovision: You Decide, will be broadcast live from the O2 Forum in Kentish Town, London, on 26 February on BBC4.
During the show, six shortlisted acts will compete in front of an expert panel as they bid to get viewers' votes. The shortlisted artists and details of the panel are yet to be revealed by the BBC.
The programme will also feature guest performers, which will be announced on Ken Bruce’s BBC Radio 2 show on 22 January.
The network will also broadcast both the semi-finals of Eurovision live on 10 and 12 May. The final will be broadcast on BBC1 on 14 May.
BBC4 editor Cassian Harrison said: ‘I’m delighted that Eurovision: You Decide and both of the Semi Finals are coming to the channel this year.
‘Eurovision is one of the biggest music events on the planet and is much more than just one night of TV, therefore it is only right that BBC4 is able to showcase Europe’s favourite music TV event right here in the UK.’
