Generator’s Joe Frankland joins as the new industry fund manager and Flatpack Film Festival’s Flora Ward joins as the new administrator.
Frankland will be overseeing the organisation’s popular Momentum Music Fund, which is run in partnership with Arts Council England, and the International Showcase Fund, which is supported by Arts Council England, British Underground, UKTI and Musicians Union.
He will also take care of new opportunities the Foundation is planning to support emerging talent across different genres.
Previously, Frankland worked at Generator, the north east based music development agency, for five years.
Ward brings experience from BBC Introducing and, more recently, Flatpack Film Festival, which takes over venues across Birmingham every March.
Vanessa Reed, the organisation's executive director, said: ‘Joe’s understanding of the music industry and artist development, and Flora’s enthusiasm for music and what we do fit perfectly with what we need at this stage of the Foundation’s development.
‘Their experience of working outside London is also a great asset and will help us to keep ensuring that our support reaches individuals and organisations across every UK region.’
