Over 30 PRS members were credited on GRAMMY award winning works at this year’s ceremony, with Harry Styles and co-writer Kid Harpoon taking home Album of the Year for Harry’s House, the biggest selling album of 2022.
Wet Leg took home Best Alternative Music Album for their self-titled debut, as well as Best Alternative Music Performance for Chaise Longue. Elsewhere, the award for Best Pop Vocal Performance went to Adele for Easy On Me, Sam Smith won Best Pop Duo Vocal Performance alongside Kim Petras for Unholy, and Stewart Copeland won Best Immersive Audio Album for Dvine Tides with Ricky Kej. Ozzy Osbourne’s Degradation Rules, featuring Tony Iommi, was named the winner of the Best Metal Performance category.
Meanwhile, Beyonce became the artist with the most GRAMMY wins ever – with a total of 32 – thanks to her triumph in the Best Dance/Electronic Music Album category with Renaissance. Eight PRS members were credited contributors on the record.
Other major awards on the night went to Lizzo, who won Record of the Year for About Damn Time, and Bonnie Raitt, who won Song of the Year for Just Like That.
