The deadline for responses to PRS for Music’s consultation on the terms of its Popular Music Concerts Tariff (LP) closes at midnight tonight (30 September, 2015).

The consultation started on 13 April 2015 for an initial eight weeks before being extended until 30 September after a request from the Concert Promoters Association (CPA).

Paul Clements, PRS for Music’s commercial director, said: ‘From the outset, the aim of the consultation has been to conduct a comprehensive review of the live music industry, and I would like to thank our members and customers for their considerations throughout this consultation period. We look forward to reviewing all responses received.’

The consultation process welcomed industry-wide views from across the live music sector.

PRS for Music will conduct a thorough review of all consultation responses and release a summary of the responses later in the year.
