PRS for Music’s Mark Lawrence has been confirmed as a panellist at this year’s annual Ibiza International Music Summit (IMS).

Mark will appear as part of session asking ‘Where does all the money go?’ on Wednesday 22 May.

He’ll be joined by the likes of John Truelove (Truelove), Marcus Trojan (Weekend club), Ralf Kollmann (Mobilee Records), Stephen Titmus (Shazam) and moderator, Kurosh Nasseri (Association for Electronic Music) to discuss how dance music makers need to focus on business as well as making music to ensure they receive the correct royalties from their work.

IMS runs from 22-26 May at the Gran Hotel in Ibiza with Chic main songwriter and Daft Punk collaborator Nile Rodgers appearing as a key note speaker.

The musician, who has worked with a who’s who of popular music over his career including Madonna, David Bowie and Duran Duran, will also write an ‘IMS Anthem’ for the event.

Nile said: ‘I am so excited to be creating the IMS Anthem 2013. I had such an inspirational time at IMS last year and its opened up many new connections including collaborations with many contemporary electronic artists.’

Bristol-based house producer Eats Everything will be putting together a specially commissioned remix of the new song to mark the event.

Other panellists include house DJ and producer Paul Van Dyke, Timo Garcia and Fatboy Slim alongside a whole host of luminaries from the electronic music world.
