Côr Glanaethwy, Britain’s Got Talent finalists, will perform at an event to celebrate the first PRS for Music Sound Makeover.

The invite-only event will take place at Caernarfon Castle on Thursday 16 July and mark the inaugural national Sound Makeover competition winner, One.a Salon.

Paula Foskett of One.a Salon in Caernarfon, North Wales, was crowned the winner from over 400 applicants.

Paula and her team will unveil their salon sound system makeover featuring new sound technology following expert advice from Culture Club producer Steve Levine.

Paul Clements, PRS for Music’s commercial director, said: ‘This fantastic celebration recognises the link between our customers, members’ repertoire and the value music brings to businesses.

‘With Steve Levine’s state of the art expert advice to Paula and her team, we look forward to hearing One.a Salon’s use music to its full advantage within the competitive salon industry.’

This year’s 2015 Sound Makeover judging panel featured record producer and PRS Director, Steve Levine, Paul Clements, MP for Morecambe and Lunesdale and salon entrepreneur, David Morris and TV and radio presenter/beauty expert, Gina Akers.
