Viola Beach and the Sherlocks are among the acts lined up for the BBC Music Introducing and PRS for Music Foundation showcase at SXSW.
Taking place on Wednesday 16 March at the British Music Embassy at Latitude 30, the showcase will be hosted by BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens, 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq and Jo While from Radio 2.
The show will open with 20-year-old singer-songwriter Isaac Gracie.
BBC Sound of Poll nominees Billie Marten and Frances are also on the bill, alongside rising Sheffield rock band The Sherlocks. Politically-charged Welsh alt-rock band ESTRONS will top the evening.
BBC Introducing is known for showcasing the future of UK music all year-long.
According to organisers, in its 30th year this year, SXSW will see no fewer than 2,220 acts, from the unsigned to the iconic, play across over 100 venues in just six days.
The Foundation is funding 14 British acts to attend this year’s SXSW including Jane Weaver and Shakka.
