For the seventh year Belfast Nashville will bring Belfast alive with the sound of 150 artists performing at 44 venues. Songwriters from all over the world will gather at the songwriting festival and PRS for Music is proud to sponsor the event. At the festival PRS for Music will host an after-show club showcasing local songwriters at the Madison Hotel.

Aaron Shanley is a singer-songwriter from Lisburn, Northern Ireland. He has received notable ongoing support from the BBC, including BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio Ulster. Aaron won the Katherine Brick Young Songwriter of the Year Award in 2010. He was awarded 'Best Male' at the Access to Music Awards 2010 and performed at the ceremony.
Aaron has toured extensively in the US, UK and Ireland, including dates supporting Kiernan McMullan and Ben Glover. He self-released his debut mini-album 'Let The Sun In' through his own label Love Gum Records in October 2010.

Gareth Dunlop began his music career at age 14 by trying to play his Fathers old Yamaha guitar. After a few basic chords were established it quickly became an addiction to play and learn more and more about music. Music performance for Gareth started in pubs and clubs but quickly moved to auditoriums and festivals around Europe. Playing before and in some cases alongside artists such as Jeff Beck, Snow Patrol, Jools Holland, Paul Carrack, Imelda May and Nanci Griffith.

Scottish / Americana singer/songwriter/ fiddler/guitarist raised on Celtic roots, folk and country music, has been hailed by the London Times as the "Musical Heroine of the Y Generation." She first hit the American roots scene while performing with Pete Seeger in New York . Her album Celticana (recorded in Nashville) has garnered rave reviews and strong airplay on both sides of the ocean and stayed for ten solid weeks on the Americana Top 40 Chart. Laura was a featured artist on the BBC-TV's Award winning Scotland's Music. Her composition, "Arbroath Suite" is played all over the world every year on Celtic radio Tartan Day programs, and is being expanded into a large symphonic piece for orchestras in collaboration with the famed composer and conductor David Amram.
Currently, Laura is based inNashville and touring America promoting the Celticana album, in addition to writing new material in collaboration with some of Nashville?s most successful tunesmiths.
