Simon Aldridge is to become PRS for Music’s new head of writer relations.
He joins from BMI’s London office at the beginning of January and replaces Myles Keller, who relocated to the US earlier this year.
Aldridge has more than 30 years’ experience in the music industry, working for companies such as Sony/ATV, Windswept Publishing and Columbia Records.
Over the years, he’s worked with acts including Seal, Gabrielle, Mark Morrison, All Saints, Wayne Hector, James Morrison, Pet Shop Boys, Gary Barlow, Mikkel Eriksen and Don Black.
He is also a PRS member and was the singer and songwriter eighties band, Kissing The Pink.
