The Performing Right Society (PRS) is urging more of its full members to consider standing for election to the PRS board in 2017.
The society said its board directors play a key role in setting the strategic direction of the society and promoting the success of the company, and it would like to see more songwriters, composers and publishers from its broad membership putting themselves forward for the role.
It is also calling on all full and associate members to make their votes count at the 2017 Annual General Meeting (AGM), which takes place at the British Library in London on Wednesday 24 May 2017.
Full members wanting to stand for election must be nominated by 10 other full members. Nominations must be received at least three calendar months before the AGM.
