The society, which distributes royalties to record companies and performers, said its APM will take place on 26 November at London arts venue Rich Mix.
PPL’s constitution requires that, at each APM, the longest serving elected performer directors must step down and an election held.
The incumbent directors may stand for re-election but alternative candidates may also be nominated to stand.
This year, current chair of the PPL performer board Gerald Newson is due to step down but he will stand for re-election.
The full list of candidates standing for his position will be confirmed and published by PPL in mid-November.
During the meeting, there will be an address from PPL chief executive Peter Leathem and presentations by key members of the management team.
