Gribbin started off performing in bands in his native northern Ireland, before moving to Australia to pursue a career in songwriting.

Along the way he's penned the music for the Sony Pictures movie Killing Bono, co-written the Grammy-nominated song Celebration for Madonna, and has written and performed music for the Phillip Ridley movie Heartless.

Gribbin has a song called Hey Baby Doll in the forthcoming Al Pacino movie Danny Collins, which is sung by Pacino himself.

He is also the frontman for multi-million selling Australian band INXS and has been working on solo material due for release at the end of the year.

Jonny Quinn, Polar Patrol director and founder, said: ‘We are thrilled to have Ciaran signed to Polar as a songwriter. His skills, talent and international experience put him in an ideal place to co-write with and for a wide range of artists but equally he can competently write to brief for TV, ads and movies.’
