The 62nd GRAMMY Awards will take place next week, and it’s been a bumper year for British nominations.

This year’s ceremony includes nominations for more than 40 PRS for Music members over a considerable range of categories, from Song of the Year and Album of the Year to Best Rock Performance and Best New Age Album.

British nominees also cover a broad range of genres, including pop, R&B, dance, reggae, screen composition and classical.

East London singer-songwriter NAO has been put forward to take home Best Urban Contemporary Album for her 2018 release, Saturn.

Both Thom Yorke and The Chemical Brothers got nods in three different categories.

Burna Boy's album, African Giant, got nominated in the Best World Music Album category.

Elsewhere, Imogen Heap has been nominated for her contributions to the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child musical under the Best Musical Theatre Album category.

The awards ceremony takes place on 26 January at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
