Plan B and Sam Eldridge win A&M award

Hip hop star Plan B and his manager Sam Eldridge claimed the top unannounced prize at this year’s Artist & Manager (A&M) Awards.

Hip hop star Plan B and his manager Sam Eldridge claimed the top unannounced prize at this year’s Artist & Manager (A&M) Awards.

The pair were named as Artist and Manager of the Year at the Music Managers Forum and the Featured Artists Coalition.

Pale Seas, a hotly tipped new band, received the Artist Award - the Spofity-sponsored £10,000 award also features a marketing and promotional campaign on the streaming service.

Fellow newcomers Young Derry, Stevie Neale, Jethro Fox and Eagulls were all in the running for the prize.

Kylie Minogue’s manager Terry Blamey, who has managed the solo star for the last 25 years, won the Peter Grant award.

The awards took place at the Troxy in East London last night (27 November).
