PJ Harvey, Mercury Prize winning singer songwriter, has unveiled details of her new album The Hope Demolition Project.

PJ Harvey, Mercury Prize winning singer songwriter, has unveiled details of her new album The Hope Demolition Project.

The record, which is the artist’s ninth and first in four years since Let England Shake, was recorded at Somerset House as part of the Recording in Progress project.

PJ Harvey and her production team made the album inside a purpose built installation while audiences watched through the one-way glass.

The Hope Demolition Project will be released on 15 April on Island records. She will be touring festivals around Europe this summer, including Field Day in London on 12 June.
