Synth-pop soloist Pixx (pictured) and grunge-pop trio Dream Wife are among the latest acts to receive support from PRS Foundation’s Momentum Music Fund.
They are joined by Anil Sebastian, Childcare, Doe, Jevon, Malika, Otzeki and Zara McFarlane, who each benefit from grants of between £5,000 and £15,000 to help take their careers to the next level.
Belly Squad, Deep Throat Choir, Estrons, James Vickery, Nolay, October Drift, Sam Fender, Snowy, The Pale White and Trudy and the Romance are the final acts making up the 20-strong list.
This latest round is the biggest to date, supporting the most artists in a single Momentum funding round since the fund was created in 2013.
The Foundation said this was possible thanks to the additional support from its newest partner PPL.
Estrons said: ‘Getting the Momentum Music Fund has been one of the happiest moments of our time as a band so far.
‘It means we can now take the next step up in improving our production and bringing a higher standard of art to our fans and concentrate on doing what we love doing: making music. This genuinely is a massive game changer for us.’

The next deadline for applications to the Momentum Music Fund is 14 November 2017 via the PRS Foundation website. The Foundation is particularly calling on applications from outside London.
