PRS for Music has unveiled Caernarfon’s One.a Salon as the winner of its £5k Sound Makeover competition.
The collecting society’s competition offers salon managers and owners across the UK the chance to improve their sound and music facilities.
Renowned music producer Steve Levine will work with PRS for Music and salon owner Paula Foskett to kit out the Welsh salon with top of the range sound equipment.
Paul Clements, PRS for Music's commercial director, said: 'We want to raise awareness to help our licensees use music to its full advantage to help set their salon apart within this competitive industry.
'We were very impressed with Paula’s creative ideas, her enthusiasm for music and genuine passion to use her salon for community events and fundraising. The interest and passion of Paula's staff also really stood out within the sound makeover competition and how it could enhance their daily working lives. We are confident that her prize money, alongside the expert advice of Steve Levine will really help to make a difference for Paula and her business.'
