The closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic games will be a celebration of British music and British performers.
The show, called A Symphony of British Music, will be 'an absolute melting pot of British creativity' according to Director Kim Gavin, who also described the event as 'an elegant mash-up of British music'.
The closing ceremony will take place on the evening of Sunday August 12 and will feature nearly 400 children from the Olympic boroughs and the London Symphony Orchestra.
