Calling all opera fans: did a performer, ensemble or production impress you in 2018? Now's your chance to have your say, as nominations for the 2019 International Opera Awards are now open!
Members of the public and the opera industry are invited to submit their nominations for performances and achievements that took place in 2018, anywhere in the world.
Multiple submissions are permitted, with categories including best chorus, conductor, designer, director, lifetime achievement and newcomer.
Shortlists will be announced in early 2019, when voting for the Opera magazine Readers’ Award will also open. Details of the 2019 ceremony are set to be revealed shortly.
Nominations close at 5pm on 7 January 2019.
