Chasing Yesterday was the first number one on the Official Vinyl Albums Chart, launched in April 2015, and was the overall fastest-selling album of the year upon its release in March.
Winners of Best British Group at the 2015 BRIT Awards, Royal Blood claimed fifth place with their debut album while Magic Whip, Blur’s latest LP, is the fourth best-selling vinyl album of the year.
In the vinyl singles market, Noel Gallagher continues to dominate, taking four slots in the top ten with Riverman number one.
