North London rock quartet Wolf Alice were among the winners at the NME Awards with Austin, Texas, taking home two gongs for Best Live Band and Best Track.
Taking place at Brixton Academy last night (17 February), the awards saw the group pick up Best Track for their song Giant Peach.
Other winners included The Maccabees for Best British Band, Rat Boy as Best New Artist and Foals for Best Album with their latest record, What Went Down.
Mike Williams, NME editor-in-chief, said: ‘The last 12 months have been massive for NME, so I’m delighted that we’ve been able to celebrate with such an amazing knees-up.
‘Once again we lived up to our reputation as the most rock’n’roll awards ceremony on the planet, and it’s great to see so many brilliant artists being crowned NME Award winners. Roll on another year of brilliant music.’
