Arctic Monkeys, Drenge and Fat White Family were among the winners at the NME Awards 2014.
The Sheffield rock band were one of the big winners of the night, picking up five awards for best British band, album, fan community and live band with frontman Alex Turner named as hero of the year.
Other winners include Disclosure with best track for White Noise and LA rockers Haim were named as best international band.
Mike Williams, editor of NME, said: ‘What an incredible night it has been! Tonight revealed the outcome of hundreds of thousands of votes by passionate music fans, reflecting just how much fantastic music there is to be celebrated both in Britain and internationally.’
