A new European online resource has launched to bring together the work of the region's 34 collecting societies and provide their members with information on cultural events, new studies, author-focused partnerships and technological developments within copyright administration.

The website, author societies.eu, will also discuss the legal changes affecting songwriters across Europe, bringing a fresh perspective to the debate and keeping songwriters and publishers up to date on national and international policies.

PRS for Music will regularly contribute to the platform and the collecting society group GESAC will publish all its papers online.
