Ringo Starr has been working in the studio with the likes of Dave Stewart, Bruce Sugar, Don Was, Mike Bradford and Amy Keys among others to create what will be his 17th solo album.
The nine-song album, Ringo 2012 is scheduled for release on 30 January next year and features two covers: Buddy Holly's Think It Over and Rock Island Line which was popularly recorded by Lonnie Donegan in the 1950s.
Also featured are revisited versions of two of Ringo's songs - Wings and Step Lightly alongside five new compositions.
