The first of its kind in Europe, the BA (Hons) Music Performance Management will be spread over three years and allows time for performing and songwriting. Upon graduation, students will be equipped with all the skills they need to effectively manager their own music careers.

Bucks New University is the leading UK provider of music management and training, and wants to equip students with the ability to reflect on their own performances so they can constantly improve, arm them with industry knowledge, teach them how to produce their own music in a studio setting and then how to take their music to market.

Teresa Moore, Department Manager, Music and Events Management, said: 'This innovative degree has been uniquely designed for music performers of the 21st century, and recognises the most important aspects required for individuals to manage and translate their own music brand in today’s ever-evolving industry.'

'Crucially these DIY musicians will be able to build their music performance portfolio in the evenings, weekends as well as during the holiday periods and utilise our top-of-the range industry-standard music studios to support their studies. There are also opportunities for students to enrol on this part-time programme who might not have the qualifications needed for one of our full-time undergraduate courses.'

Bucks New University offers a range of music industry courses, and not just those who wish to become performers. There are still places available for the following full-time courses: Music Management; Music Management and Artists Development; Music and Live Events Management; Music Management, Branding and Public Relations; and Music Management and Studio Production. All courses start in September.

This year Bucks New University's clearing hotline is open from 8am-8pm on Thursday 16 August, 8am - 7pm on Friday 17 August and 9am - 3pm on Saturday 18 August. The hotline number is 0800 0565 660 or students can email enquiries through to advice@bucks.ac.uk.

Students are also able to access a dedicated online clearing portal at bucks.ac.uk/clearing for advice, guidance and FAQs around clearing.
