New grantees for The Open Fund announced

Estrons, Shape and the CBSO Youth Orchestra are among 48 music creators and organisations to receive funding through the PRS for Music Foundation's Open Fund scheme.

ESTRONS (above), the CBSO Youth Orchestra and Shape are among the 48 music creators and organisations to receive support from the PRS for Music Foundation’s Open Fund.

Welsh rock band ESTRONS will use their funding to support the release of a new single and a headline UK tour.

CBSO Youth Orchestra will  commission a new piece from classical composer Daniel Kidane and Shape received funding for the From Now On Festival in 2017.

The Open Fund supports the development of outstanding songwriters and composers of all genres and backgrounds and at different stages of their career.
