Sunken, Louis VI, Kamakaze and The Tin Pigeons are among the latest acts selected for PledgeMusic and PRS Foundation’s Emerging Artists Fund.

They are joined by a further eight artists including IORA, Kevin McGuire, Man of Moon and Talkboy (full list below).

Each winner will receive grant support up to £2,500 from PRS Foundation, alongside a tailored PledgeMusic funding campaign.

Over 100 submissions were submitted in this round and the winners were chosen by a panel of industry executives and experts.

Luke Arthur, campaign manager at PledgeMusic, said: ‘Spanning genres from grime to grunge, we’re delighted in this second round of the Emerging Artists Fund to get behind and extend our support to a range of great new talent.’

PRS Foundation’s senior grants and programmes manager Joe Frankland added: ‘The Emerging Artists Fund continues to unearth incredible new music from across the UK.

'We’ve been pleased to see Round One’s artists launching great PledgeMusic campaigns, with many reaching targets already; and we’re excited to be supporting a dozen more artists to record, release, tour and promote their next projects.’

The third round of the PledgeMusic and PRS Foundation Emerging Artists Fund will take place in early 2019. For more info see https://prsfoundation.com/buttons/emerging-artists-fund/
