Electronic whizz Nathan Fake has announced the launch of his new Cambria Instruments label with friend and fellow producer Wesley Matsell.

The pair, both asscociated to the excellent Border Community imprint, will launch their new endeavour with a split single featuring Black Drift from Nathan and Bismuth from Wesley.

Nathan said: ‘Cambria is a reference to both Wesley and I. He’s from Wales, and Cambria is an ancient English/Latin name for Wales, so we thought that summed up where the label was coming from.

He added that both tracks explore ‘new esoteric melodies and textures previously unheard from both artists’.
