The session, organised by TechPitch 4.5, will provide the start-ups with a platform to build awareness, gain investment and network with industry experts and potential partners. The pitching companies will present innovative propositions around radio, licensing, mobile, music making tools and instruments, video, search and music discovery.

The Music TechPitch 4.5 event will take place on 23 April from 6.30pm at KweekWeek Hub, Unit 2 Waterside, 44-48 Wharf Road, London, N1 7UX and features a keynote speech by Dyball, Senior Vice President of International Legal and Business Affairs at Warner/Chappell.

Following the keynote, the new music firms will present their business ideas and revenue models during a three-minute pitch and five-minute Q&A with a panel of judges.

The judges will discuss the viability, growth potential and revenue model of each business idea, providing constructive feedback on both the business model and the pitch. A winner will be selected by both the judges and by audience vote.

The panel includes: Tom Frederikse (Clintons); Jane Dyball (Warner/Chappell); Tina Baker (JagShaw Baker); Serge Taborin (Archant Digital Ventures); David Williams (Gogotech Telecoms & Media Consulting); Riko Sakurai, entertainment consultant who previously launched Def Jam in Japan for Universal.

The pitching, feedback session and judging will be followed by networking and drinks.
