Music Connected to return in 2017

Michelle Brook (Ignition Records), Simon Wheeler (Beggars Group) and Claire Mas (Communion Music) will be among the speakers at Music Connected 2017.

Billed as the UK’s largest digital music conference and taking place on 26 April, the event is presented by the Association of Independent Music (AIM). It will welcome many leading labels and music companies to Glaziers Hall in London to meet digital music’s key players.

Initial sessions will include Independent Labels in The Streaming Age, Capturing Live Performance to Boost Audience Engagement and What Digital Mistakes Are You Making Every Day?

Charles Caldas from Merlin will also give a keynote presentation examining the threats and opportunities for indies in the digital market.

Other workshops will offer tips on Facebook best practice and how to build a music career from your bedroom.

More sessions and speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.

Digital companies already confirmed to participate include Absolute Label Services, AEI Media, AudioLock, Believe Digital, Bonded Services, CI, Ditto Music, Facebook and Kobalt Label Services.
