Mull Historical Society’s Colin MacIntrye has signed a new publishing deal BMG Music Publishing and Xtra Mile Music.
Colin, who is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer, has signed a deal to include his back catalogue, a new album as the Mull Historical Society and the debut release from his new electro-pop outfit INK.
He is the first signing to the respected independent record label Xtra Mile Recordings’ new publishing arm Xtra Mile Music. This is part of a joint venture with BMG Music.
Commenting, Colin said: ‘I am delighted to be part of the BMG family and to be Xtra Mile Music’s first signing.
‘It is very exciting what Charlie and the Xtra Mile team are doing and I am thrilled to be a part of the journey with Charlie and Hugo; and doubly exited that all my material is together under one such fine roof.’
Colin recently released his Best Of compilation album on Xtra Mile Recordings to mark the 15th anniversary since his debut single.
His debut novel The Letters of Ivor Punch was also recently published.
