Paul Epworth, Daft Punk and Disclosure are among the nominees for the Music Producers Guild (MPG) Awards 2014.

Albums from the likes of David Bowie, Adele and Foals helped deliver nominations for the event, which will take place on 13 February 2014 at the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel in London.

Paul will be up for UK producer of the year award after taking the prize at the 2013 event. Daft Punk are included in the international producer of the year category while Disclosure have been nominated as breakthrough producers of the year.

Steve Levine said: An MPG award is highly sought-after by recording professionals because it represents an endorsement by your peers.

‘Whilst anyone can nominate, only full members of the MPG are allowed to vote for the shortlist and therefore the results are relevant to the creative value of our industry. Those who win an MPG award are known to be at the top of their game as a recording professional.’
