The Music Publishers Association (MPA) has announced details of its next induction course.
The session, which takes place on 29 February, includes an overview of copyright, the role of collecting societies, the music publishing business, its organisations and their roles.
Confirmed speakers include industry experts including Kim Frankiewizc (Imagem Music UK), Dan Pounder (Extreme Music), Ian Mylett (Schott Music), Tom Kiehl (UK Music), Lance Phillips (Sheridans LLP) and Tom Farncombe (Music Sales).
Moderators will be Claire McAuley, general manager of the MPA, and Jonathan Tester, head of creative at Bucks Music Group.
The session takes place on 29 February and 1 March at Tileyard Studios, London, N7 9AH.
