The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP), one of Europe’s leading schools of modern music, is conducting research on popular British songs.
The research is aimed at investigating possible connections between popular songs and people’s sense of national identity, and specifically songs that people feel reflect a sense of British identity. It's being conducted by the ICMP together with the University of East London (UEL), and the team here at PRS for Music has agreed to support this initiative.
If you are happy to participate, you can access the questionnaire. Your responses will be anonymous and completing it will take only a few minutes.
