The MOBO Awards is calling for music ‘superfans’ to join a panel of experts to help decide the nominees for this year’s event.

Organisers are inviting members of the public to answer ten questions to have the chance to join the judging panel.

Those chosen to take part in the MOBO Music Panel will meet at a central London location later this month to decide on the shortlisted artists.

The MOBO music panel is made up of influential members of the music and entertainment industry including DJs, pop culture commentators, promoters and press.

Visit the MOBOs website to find out how to apply for the panel.

The 18th edition of the MOBOs will take place in Glasgow on 19 October.

Last year Emeli Sande picked up the prizes for best female, best album and best R&B/soul at the awards.

Hackney star Labrinth’s collaboration with Tine Tempah received the PRS for Music sponsored award for best song with Earthquake.
