Red Light Management’s Lisa Ward and Rachael Bee, managing director of ILUVLIVE, have been newly elected to board of the Music Managers Forum (MMF).

Ward, who is executive vice president of artist strategy at Red Light, works closely with management teams representing more than 70 artists including Bastille, Belle & Sebastian, Everything Everything, Franz Ferdinand and Kaiser Chiefs.

Bee manages the careers of Izzy Bizu, Emmavie and Jords through ILUVLIVE, which is one of Arts Council England’s National Portfolio Organisations and now resident across five UK cities.

Adam Tudhope (Everybody’s), Kwame Kwaten (Ferocious) and Ric Salmon (ATC) have all been re-elected to the MMF Board, while Erik Nielsen (Rocket Music) and Joey Swarbrick (Woof Music) have stood down.

The news was given to members at the organisation’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) yesterday (20 June).

Annabella Coldrick, MMF chief executive, said: ‘Lisa and Rachael are two of UK’s most talented and respected executives, and their collective experience will be a huge positive for the MMF and our future policy making.

‘I am genuinely thrilled they are joining the board. I would also like to thank Erik and Joey for their contributions and support over the past three years. Both have put significant time and energy into this organisation, and it is all the stronger for their involvement.’

Following yesterday’s AGM, the new board will convene in early July when Diane Wagg will step down as chair and a replacement will be announced.
