During the internship, each successful candidate will develop their own project which they will present to Ministry of Sound’s chief executive Lohan Presencer.
Interested applicants should apply via the Ministry of Sound careers website with a 140 character cover letter demonstrating why they should be selected.
Ministry of Sound’s new human resources director, Tacita Small, said: ‘This is a serious search for the next generation of top talent which will test and develop the candidates’ situational adaptability, customer focus skills, creativity, work ethic and ability to collaborate.’
Jo Dipple, chief executive of UK Music, added: ‘The UK music industry’s workforce must be as diverse as the music we produce. The ecosystem that supports and promotes our music economy relies on a constantly refreshed pool of young creative talent which is why last year, UK Music, with Intern Aware published an Internship Code of Practice for music businesses and young people alike.
‘I applaud Ministry of Sound and the amazing opportunities they are offering new prospective interns. This is a great example of a music business leading the way.’
