Jazz vocalist Melissa James is to host a Gig in a Gallery (GIAG) fundraiser to raise money for Wateraid Nepal.
Taking place at London’s Lexington pub on 26 July, the gig will feature performances from the likes of Melissa, Vincent Burke and Mermaid and the Fish.
The gig follows the recent earthquakes in Nepal and will see all money raised go to supporting Wateraid’s efforts in the region.
The GIAG project began in 2013 to raise money for the Small Steps Project. Just three concerts were initially planned but by the end of the year, six gallery gigs had been staged, one of which was headlined by legendary singer-songwriter Tom Robinson. The final show of 2013 featured an auction with a donated hat from pop icon Boy George.
