Meet and Jam, an online network of musicians, is collaborating with distribution platform Spinnup and Island Records to offer songwriters the chance to showcase their music.

Every user making a studio booking via Meet and Jam will be offered a free Spinnup single release voucher.

Spinnup works to help songwriters get their music on Spotify and iTunes while ensuring that writers retain all rights to their music.

Nick Ford-Young, founder of Meet and Jam, said: ‘We're thrilled to be working with Island Records and their new talent-scouting partner Spinnup. It's a great fit for what we're doing at Meet and Jam - which is helping musicians to find each other, make music and get into the studios.

‘What makes Spinnup unique is they have A&R scouts on their platform plugged directly into Island Records. They scour the artist pages for hot new talent to discover. As an artist, going from Meet and Jam to Spinnup seems like a natural progression. We both share the same ethos.’

Meet and Jam offers musicians their own online profiles where they can list their instruments, influences and kit, post audio and video, organise their bands, and connect with each other.
