Are you a composer looking for new projects or connections in the film world? Apply to take part in the Edinburgh International Film Festival’s (EIFF) networking event.
The EIFF’s Composers and Directors Mixer is back for 2017, bringing together new and emerging directors with composers to build on future collaborations.
The free event will consist of informal speed meeting sessions, where directors will get to meet different composers who may suit upcoming projects or needs.
It takes place on 27 June from 4.30pm to 6.30pm at Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh.
Composers who are based in Edinburgh and haven’t participated in this initiative before should register their interest in one of 10 places via https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/composers-and-directors-mixer-tickets-34542856614.
The closing date is 14 June. EIFF, BAFTA Scotland and PRS for Music will draw up the final list of successful composers and notify them by 20 June.
The Composers and Directors Mixer is presented in partnership with BAFTA Scotland and PRS for Music. It forms part of the wider EIFF programme, which attracts hundreds of filmmakers and industry professionals each year.
