Max Wolfgang signs deal with UMPG

Max Wolfgang, a London-based songwriter with Major Lazer, Rudimental and Ed Sheeran, has signed a new deal with the Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG).

Max Wolfgang, a London-based songwriter with Major Lazer, Rudimental and Ed Sheeran, has signed a new deal with the Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG).

Max McElligott, aka Max Wolfgang, previous released two albums with his band Wolf Gang before more recently focusing on establishing himself as a hit songwriter for a wide array of pop artists.

According to UPMG, ‘the last 18 months have seen him in the studio writing with the likes of John Legend, Major Lazer and Rejjie Snow, and cuts to date include the Rudimental ft. Ed Sheeran hit Lay It All On Me, two Martin Garrix singles and three cuts on Keane frontman Tom Chaplin's debut album The Wave which charted at number three in the UK.’

Max has now inked a worldwide publishing deal with UMPG.

He tweeted the news: ‘Really excited to have signed a new publishing deal with the Universal team, great people and a great label bring on 2017!
