London based composer and electronic artist DJ Max Cooper has signed an exclusive publishing deal with Manners McDade.

Cooper’s forthcoming album is slated for release this autumn and following a string of acclaimed releases including Artefact EP (2015), BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix (2015) and Human (2014).

In addition to his composing work and electronic music, Cooper is also known for his innovative live shows and his sound design work.

He’s also remixed Nils Frahm, Ólafur Arnalds and Hot Chip.

Cooper said: ‘I'm very happy to be embarking on this new collaboration with Manners McDade. They have great taste in music, an amazing roster, a strong track record of syncs, and most importantly they are all lovely people so I'm happy they'll be doing the best possible job with getting my music out there in the right places.’

Catherine Manners, director of Manners McDade, added: Max Cooper is a ground breaking electronic artist; a producer, a scientist and a cross-genre collaborator - exactly the sort of musician that our office gets excited about - and we’re very, very happy that he’s chosen to work with us as his exclusive publisher.’

Manners McDade is a London-based music publisher, specialising in new classical and electronic music.

Its roster includes Nils Frahm, Throwing Snow and Christian Löffler, as well as Fabric’s Houndstooth catalogue (Akkord, Call Super, Paul Woolford’s Special Request).

It recently launched its own label, Cognitive Shift Recordings, with its debut release this November.
