The artwork of Massive Attack is to be compiled and showcased in a new book published by the Vinyl Factory.

3D and the art of Massive Attack has been put together by 3D aka Robert Del Naja and the publisher and will be the first visual retrospective of the influential group.

The book will feature artwork from across the group’s 25 year career. Early graffiti work from 3D to stencil art with Bristol collective The Wild Bunch and his latest collaborations with film maker Adam Curtis will all be featured.

A comprehensive interview with Robert will also be included alongside work with the likes of Nick Knight, Tom Hingston, Judy Blame and Michael Nash Associates.

The Vinyl Factory will publish 3D and the art of Massive Attack on 28 October 2013.

Two versions of the book will be available - a standard hardback edition and as a limited edition screen-printed vinyl box set. The limited version will contain a unique print by 3D, a signed copy of the book with alternative cover artwork and a special 12? single with a previously unreleased track backed by an etching on the b-side.

This collector’s edition will be limited to just 350 copies.

Copies can be ordered from the Vinyl Factory website.
