Heaven 17’s Martyn Ware is presenting a 3D soundscape as part of the One and All exhibition at Somerset House in London.

Running Wednesday 4 November - Sunday 13 December 2015, One and All honours 50 years of the National Trust’s Neptune Campaign, which has helped to fund the acquisition and care of 775 miles of coastline.

Martyn Ware’s 3D soundscapes - What Does The Sea Say? - recall his childhood ‘charabanc outings’ to the Yorkshire coast. His bright blue beach hut has toured the UK over the summer with the public having the chance to record soundbites about what the coast means to them.

Maija Handover, co-director of co-commissioners sounduk, said: ‘One and All offers a fascinating exploration of our coast across art, sound and poetry.

‘It creates a unique space both physically at Somerset House and online, where audiences can embark on their own personal, virtual coastal journey. Along the way they can discover and interact with three distinctive new works that connect with our coast.’

Running alongside One and All there will also be an exciting events programme of artist talks and debates from industry experts.

Visit the One and All website to take the immersive coast journey.
