Pianist Dinara Klinton and cellist Jane Lindsay are among the classical artists performing as part of the Martin Musical Scholarship Fund (MMSF) Recitals.

Taking place at London’s Southbank from tonight (13 October), the series showcases the latest recipients of support from the initiative.

MMSF is administered by the Philharmonia Orchestra and has been providing financial support to classical musicians and artists since it was set up in the sixties.

Some of the fund’s alumni include the likes of Nigel Kennedy, Freddy Kempf and Steven Isserlis.

Pianist Yoshio Hamano will launch the series of free recitals tonight with a performance at Purcell Room at London’s Southbank.
