Marshall Amplication exec Grace Pantony has joined forces with industry veteran Steve Tannett and producer Rob Cass to launch Marshall Records.
Tannett has worked with scores of artists as a manager, label boss and publisher, including REM, The Police, Duran Duran, Black Sabbath, Sting, Jools Holland and The Alarm.
Cass was a former in-house producer at Abbey Road Studios and is now resident at Tileyard Studios in Kings Cross.
He’s worked with the likes of Brian May, Slash, Baaba Maal and Joe Bonamassa.
The label has yet to announce any signings, but Tannett told Music Week it will be looking to make deals with future stars, particularly in the rock field.
