Making Music’s Selected Artists scheme is calling all professional musicians to add their details.

Published annually by Making Music's Concert Promoters' Group (CPG), Selected Artists is a guide enabling amateur musicians to book high-quality professional artists for their concerts at specially negotiated rates.

Any professional artist or ensemble can apply to be included in the Selected Artists guide.

The CPG will review all applications before choosing a final selection in early 2016. These carefully chosen musicians will receive free entry in the Selected Artists guide for one year.

Selected Artists provides amateur ensembles with top class musicians for their concerts, and creating more performance opportunities for professional artists.

Making Music’s network of 3,000 amateur music groups present around 12,000 concerts each year, spending £18.7million annually on professional conductors, accompanists, soloists, singers, instrumentalists and composers.

Previous Selected Artists include Alexandra Dariescu and the Dominic Alldis Trio.

The application deadline for the 2016/17 Selected Artists guide is 30 September 2015.
