Barry Blue is a songwriter, musician, producer and publisher whose career spans five decades. Barry was still in his teens when he wrote his first hit, Rainmaker Girl, for Gene Pitney.
Joining ATV-Kirshner in the 1970s, Blue formed songwriting partnerships with writers such as Lynsey de Paul and Ron Roker before embarking on an artist career, notching top ten hits such as Dancin' (On a Saturday Night) and Do You Wanna Dance.
As a producer and songwriter, Barry Blue has worked with Heatwave, Bananarama, Brotherhood of Man, Celine Dion, The Saturdays, Pixie Lott and The Wanted.
