Luke Haines, solo artist, one-time frontman of indie act the Auteurs and author, is to release new solo album NY in the 70s.
The record, which will come out via Cherry Red on Monday 19 May, is a collection of songs based on the American city’s rock’n’roll scene.
The album is described as ‘a mythical re-imagining of a long gone age, by a man who hails from Surrey, Southern UK’ and is the third and final part of a psychedelic trilogy that began with 2011's 9 and a half psychedelic meditations on British Wrestling From the 1970s and early '80s.
